+ + + Picnic at the ICEHOUSE = July 26, 2003 + + +

Stu Baldwin uploaded this to our forums, says it is Ron's first attempt at a Music video. My guess he made it the night of the ICEHOUSE picnic! It looks like Ron, but he must have been sucking on helium when he made it. NOTE: You will need to have the 'Shockwave Flash plugin' installed in your browser, and if it isn't you may be asked if you want to download and install it. I recommend that you say 'yes'; this is too good to miss!

or you might prefer to see a quartet horsin' around!
This Summertime gathering at the IceHouse was enjoyed by all who attended, but I don't have any photos of the event. So, I hope these few words and images will kindle some fond remembrances for those who attended and (mild) regrets for those who didn't. PAM appeared frequently from her culinary vigil in the kitchen, to deliver trays and bowls of delectable edibles to the bottomless-pits of the guests, while RON mixed and mingled and sang with various clusters of barbershoppers and wanna-be's, until he lit off the grills to barbecue the chicken, ?!boneless!? ribs, hotdogs, and hamburgers around 4:30. The sounds of singing and chatting soon subsided to a contented murmer mingled with smacking-lips and finger-licks..V Ron did all the grillwork

This DIDN'T happen...
- did not happen -
L> This (relative) silence didn't last for long, however. No one seems certain which happened first: the melodeous songs of the Sirens in the creek, or those of the barbershoppers on the lawn. Whichever, the barbershoppers on the lawn soon became barbershoppers on the pier and in the creek. A small cabin-cruiser arrived at the pier...
...so this wasn't necessary!
This didn't really happen either, SO THERE!
...and soon we were
serenading the captain's
mate to the tune of
Honey Li'l Liz
with half of us
still in the water!
The Sirens beckoned us into the creek...
so PRETEND these Sirens are in the CREEK
...and many took the bait.
yes, Barbershoppers in the CREEK, too!
(Rumor has it
that this nonsense
continued until
almost midnight!)
